I'll see how right-alignment looks; it could work. I've been discussing the "Hut, User!" thing with Ryan. I'm probably going to stick that back in the top right, since there's not really anything else to put there. It would also prompt casual visitors to register and post, since it would have the "Hey loser!" message on every page when you're logged out.  If I bring back the top-right user square thing (it's actually defined as "userarea" in the CSS, iirc), then what would go on the left of the "mark all posts as read" bar? Right now it's "go back to the homepage", which would be irrelevant if the forum were integrated. My mockup has "view unread posts", which wouldn't be unnecessary if the userarea were back. So what should go there? |

I dunno. A sekrit page link? Maybe you could stick Search there instead of in the top menu. ...maybe not. It could be "Today's Top Poster" or something. |

Meh, I don't really like how it looks with the big Impact text and all that, I prefer it with the type of navigation we have now. Also, I would still like it if you centred the top bar thing on the main site.

"Big Impact text"? You mean the "profile - inbox - etc." bar thing? I'm not seriously considering using that for the navigation. I just used that to show where the buttons would go. >_> I thought it was self-explanatory. No one could ever think that text looks good. And no, I don't want to centre the menubar. I plan to put something in the top right eventually. |

This is not a mockup. It's obviously not done yet, but I got the userarea in there. (It's not on the homepage yet. This is just me playing around until I'm ready to put it on there.)

We had Colourful Tabs before. It put the same colours beside each other and therefor made it look bad. Not gonna get it again. |
